Astro-Rex Productions

This is Astro-Rex Productions main page and we will be updating with it with more information later on. First of all, we are a video production crew that work on basically fan films etc. We specialize in Filming, Special Effects, Sound editing, 3-d Modeling. Right now we are currently working on our main project and our first fan film, Star Wars the Hidden Legacy. The production crew will be adding updates to this movie on the movies own page in our site.

We are currently planning on many other projects which will remain secret for the moment while we finish the SW fan film and start the production of the new movies.

Origins

Astro-Rex's origins is not one to write about full pages about, it is actually pretty simple. Basically, two friends had interests in movie making and one was specialized in special effects while the other was starting to learn a 3-d program called Maya. It all seemed simple at first but they worked with their programs and got better at them. After a short period of time they decided to partner up and make a production company.

Astro-Rex receives its name because of its founders: Locuan has a great interest in space therefore he decided that with Astro they could combine another word an make a production company that has the interests of both of the founders; El Bombillazo, on the other hand, has great interest in dinosaurs and the Jurassic Park movies therefore decided Rex should be another part of the name. Thus, Astro-Rex was born and now it is well under way into the production of their first movie. Astro-Rex was founded in 2006.
